Sounds great, my friend. I can’t wait to get my capo back from my dad so I
can start learning this, myself.

Wow, and i thought the original key was beautiful; E major is gorgeous. And
this is amazing on the guitar.
Ella Gambrill –
This is beautiful.

Amazing 3
This is one of the reason i love Satie works
Looner WS –
The transcription is nice. Though the key is changed, doesn’t sound the
same.

For a very long time, I thought that Satie’s original version was in A maj. When I found out today that it’s actually in D, I tuned my guitar down a step and played through this version. Words cannot express how happy that I am.

I used to play Erik Saties Gymnopédies on the piano. Emres guitar transcription – as well as his playing – convinced me purchasing the sheet music on onlineguitaracademy.net.
There are a lot of transcriptions of great pieces available I would consider being the best on YouTube. I personally dig Vivaldis Four Seasons. I extended my repertoire by Winter. More seasons are scheduled.
Thank You LAGA for your great work! I am looking forward to the next upload.

Dr. Emre Sabuncuoglu continues to live up to the wish of Segovia: Add to the repertoire. Yes, others have arranged Gymnopédie No. 1 by Erik Satie but few have made it so accessible. Thank you!

For me this is the best transcription of Gymnopedie 1 for guitar. I’ve purchased this sheet music from LAGA, and now play this piece almost every night to my kids as a bedtime music.
David Arno Sorensen –
Wonderful piece, both the piano original and this transcription for guitar. I have recently purchased it and enjoy playing it very much. I would also love to see in the catalogue all of Bach’s first cello suite, which sounds great on classical guitar. Although I will definitely purchase some of the Bach pieces available. The video recording is really helpful too. Great, all in all.
Beckett Pryor –
Another of one of the best arrangements online. I’m very happy with my purchase!

This is such a beautifully written arrangement. There has been meticulous care to capture the atmospheric mood of the original. Emre Sabuncuoglu is a master of arrangement – many classical guitar pieces struggle to carry through individual voices, however Emre manages it beautifully. Thank you for sharing your skills!
