The first day I walked into my very first guitar lesson with Max Rich, I was extremely nervous. I come from a family of musicians and had a difficult time learning from them. I was constantly told I was doing something wrong and how perfect things had to be because I grew up around music. This caused some fear in learning to play as well as insecurities about what I was capable of doing. From that very first day, Max made me feel right at home. He is an excellent instructor that makes learning to play fun and engaging. Not only have I been learning to play guitar but also how to let go of the fear and insecurities that were ingrained in me. Max is the true definition of professionalism and dedication. He is enthusiastic when teaching that its obvious its a true passion for him. Max works very hard in catering each lesson to my specific needs and supports me in my goals. Every lesson I have taken with him is challenging and fun at the same time. His extensive knowledge of music is extraordinary and I am constantly learning something new. His personality is one like no other and he is very easy to get along with. The money spent taking his lessons is definitely worth it. His patience and dedication for his students is one to admire. I cannot thank Max enough for all his help and hard work trying to teach a student like me. I’m sure it’s not easy trying to teach guitar and at the same time battling those inner fears and insecurities to get me to believe in myself. Thank you for making believe in my own potential.
