Thanks to all of you for making us one of CBS Los Angeles’ top guitar schools in the greater Los Angeles area. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to all of our students, our supporters, our teachers, and our staff for making this happen.
We look forward to providing even better musical education to the Los Angeles area through our studio lessons, and to he entire world, through our live webcam guitar lessons and our video guitar lessons.
Our select group of private guitar teachers, who teach both studio and webcam lessons, have grown in both number and in variety over the past year. We added Mark Goldenberg, who teaches acoustic, fingerstyle, folk, blues, jazz, rock, and beginning classical guitar. Mark is the lead guitarist for the renowned folk-rock musician Jackson Browne. We also added Rahul Puar, a talented classical guitarist who is pursuing his master’s degree in guitar performance from California State University at Northridge. Shane Gibson, formerly the lead guitarist for the metal band KoRn, also joined our faculty. He teaches a variety of styles in addition to metal guitar, including jazz, electric, folk, acoustic, fusion, and experimental forms.
Our video online guitar lessons have also added some great new features. We now have arrangements of many popular classical pieces arranged for the guitar included in our curriculum. You may preview some of these exciting new pieces in our free online classical guitar mini-lessons.
