Im new here and i love it being a classical guitar nut ! .Wish i was better player but im trying hard to improve hence joining here , this video was recorded a year ago and it is a level 4 piece here at LAguitar . some of the beginner pieces here at LA guitar are tough and are no push overs to learn but they are also lovely ones that i want to learn so im not tempted to jump into the more advanced pieces .
That said i am a little surprised cause i thought i would have no problem with the early levels .Its not that im struggling with them but its all new material and will take time to learn each piece to performance standard .For example Sors study in Am from beginner set 2 is a lovely piece with nothing too hard with left hand but my right hand is finding it hard , to get it up to the speed played in the video is going to take time ! . So im not going to move on to next piece until i can play it right , is that the way to go ?? obviously my right hand arpeggio playing is weak and this piece exposed that
Completion of every piece from level one to four is going to take me over a year i reckon ! and im not a beginner at all . Im in no real hurry but still just little shocked at the high standard expected here ! as it should be !!
