C3. Moving on to the next level
Congratulations on completing Level 3. Fine work! You have successfully entered the intermediate level in your study of the classical guitar.
At this point, we highly recommend that you begin submitting a video of your performance of the pieces in Level 4 once per month. Upon conclusion of Level 4, you will be required to submit three pieces to our instructors before moving onto Level 5, unless you have been submitting your monthly videos throughout the course of your study. You can send us your videos simply by using the video submission form on your Student Homepage. The increasing difficulty in the upper levels requires a proper technique and a sufficient skill level and the video submission will ensure that you have the technical skills to tackle the more advanced repertoire in Level 5.In Level 4, we will begin by learning essential techniques that will carry you through the next level, such as staccato, horizontal stretches, rasgueados and more. We will then cover inspiring repertoire by Coste, Cardoso, Visee, Sor, Tarrega and Bach.
