While listening to Soleares pieces, you will occasionally hear some notes which lie outside of the standard Phrygian scale that we studied in the previous lesson.
These notes you will find in this extended Phrygian scale, which also contains G# and D#.

As you move from one pitch to the next, transfer the tension of the finger holding the first pitch to the next finger as it plays the next pitch in the sequence.
