These next lessons cover all of the first position notes on all six strings of your guitar. In these lessons, you will build your technical proficiency and confidence as you learn new notes, underlying scales for all of the tonalities that your music is based upon, more difficult and intricate fingerings, how to play staccato, and be exposed to many new and more sophisticated rhythms, including some heavily syncopated African ones. You will learn how to play in asymmetrical meter, such as 5/8, 7/8, 9/8, and more.
