Guitar for Christmas Gift

Are you asking for a guitar for the holidays this year? Is there anything specific that you are asking for? I already have a guitar and I'm a beginner so I've asked for lessons. Maybe by next winter I'll be ready for something better.

I asked for a guitar for Christmas and my husband and mother went in halves on a Big Baby Taylor. It's much nicer than the guitar I had and even though it's smaller, it sounds bigger. I love it and I would recommend it to anyone that's in a $500 dollars-or-less budget.

I know it's a little late for the original post and also a little early for this year but what the heck! This year, I've already asked my wife to pick me up a slim electro acoustic. While I love my dreadnought acoustic, it can be a little cumbersome sometimes - I'll also have the added benefit of being able to connect headphones to avoid any potential future arguments!

Sounds like you will have quite a collection! Headphones are a good idea in case you want to play an electric guitar after others in the house are sleeping. Hope you get your new guitar this coming holiday season.

Thanks mahler82, I do seem to be building quite a collection. I haven't even mentioned the Yamaha 3/4 Spanish acoustic that my Grandfather left to me when he passed, the Gibson Gothic Explorer that I sold last year or the Ibanez G10 that I bought for my wife to use before she gave up on the guitar and let me have it!
