Attempt at Chopin Waltz 19, need some direction

Postby brouwery » Sat Apr 14, 2012 9:35 pm

Well I'm trying to get back into CG and the Chopin Waltz on youtube caught my attention, and I signed up for this great online program. I've been doing exercises and studies mostly but wanted to try this piece I liked so much. I need some advice on how to practice it effectively so that it's more musical and connected. Here is a practice video.

Hi Scott,

Thank you for your video submission. Excellent playing! Very stable and balanced sitting position. The position shifts are very efficient and precise. Very musical performance. Please check your email for further comments and suggestions.

Thank you for being a source of motivation to all our students with your video performance.

I am no expert at guitar, but that is an amazing video! I think you must have practiced that piece for quite some time to be able to play it so proficiently.
