What age were you first intorduced to the guitar?

What age were you when you first became interested in playing the guitar? Did you start playing immediately? My three year old is very interested, but I feel like she is probably too young for very much instruction just yet.

I've been interested in the guitar for as long as I can remember. My parents were never able to afford one, though. I could never afford one for myself, either, until recently. I only hope it's not too late to learn!

I have been around guitar players since early childhood. I used to love it when my uncle came to visit. He never went anywhere without his guitar!

I don't think it is ever too late to learn anything unless you are dead LOL. We decided to go ahead and get our almost 3 year old her own guitar. She is always trying to play mine!

I think I was about 5 or 6 years old when I was first introduced to a guitar. I don't think it's ever too early or too late to entertain something that interests you though. If you want to learn, learn! And if your child shows an interest in it, encourage it!

I first decided that I wanted to learn to play the guitar at 11 years of age. Having said that, it's never too late or too early to pick the instrument up. My Grandfather started learning flamenco guitar when he turned 70 and my niece, who is 2 and a half, loves messing about with a little ukulele that my brother bought for her.
